We are currently looking to recruit 3 National Account Managers to complete a team of 7 specialising in dealing with the food industry. Reporting into a national Sector Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing our largest and most prestigious national customers within a defined geographical area.
Responsible for a set of designated national accounts you will manage their needs and promote my clients sales and service capabilities. You will be expected to identify key contacts and develop relationships in order to maximise sales opportunities and maintain my clients profit margins
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Account Management
- Negotiate existing and new contracts as appropriate
- Make regular and scheduled face to face customer contact
- Identify and act on sales opportunities within each account, in line with my clients profitability model
- Promote sales of my clients products to maximise sales and optimise profit within all channels
- Understand and deliver the objectives of the Corporate Account strategic plans
Customer Development
- Build relationships with dedicated customer set in conjunction with all corporate team members
- Respond quickly to customer information requests and visits
- Prepare, maintain and update detailed register of customer development
Performance Management
- Record and monitor sales activity within each account on a regular basis
- Develop realistic sales forecasts in line with my clients sales model
- Submit sales reports on a daily basis
The Areas
Scotland – Ideally based in the Falkirk area the main business will be concentrated around the PH, DD, FK and G postcode areas along with occasional trips to Ireland.
East Anglia – Predominantly based around the PE, NR AND IP postcodes the extremity of the area will be the Northampton and Milton Keynes postcodes.
South East / London – In this instance the South East is seen as the London postcodes and Kent.
